Management and delivery of the harvesting and replanting for a windfarm project comprising 24 turbines with an installed generating capacity of 106mw.

EJD Forestry worked with the land owner and developer to produce a long term forest plan that accommodated the windfarm within the forest.

EJD Forestry:

• managed the timber sale process and the harvesting required to facilitate the development
• carried out the planning work to meet the compensatory planting requirement of the planning consent
• negotiated crop compensation on behalf of the landowner
• managed the replanting and compensatory planting
